Welcome to the official website for the West Lakes and Districts Little Athletic Centre (WLDLAC). WLDLAC is located in the western suburbs of Adelaide. Little Athletics is a uniquely Australian sport for children aged 3 - 17 years. As the name suggests, it is based upon the sport of athletics (track and field) and the events are specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children. A wide range of running, jumping and throwing events are conducted.

Little Aths, as it is affectionately referred to by those who enjoy it, is not really about winning, but about having fun, making friends and getting families involved in healthy activities. The emphasis is placed on participation and personal improvement. It is little surprise then, that the motto of Little Athletics is: "Family, Fun and Fitness".

Little Athletics recognises that children vary widely in shape, size and athletic ability, and is thus one of few sports that successfully caters for them all.

West Lakes and Districts Little Athletics Centre meet every Friday night during the season at the Iversen Athletics Reserve, Port Adelaide. Season extends from September to late March. New registrations and come and trys are welcome throughout the season. Registered athletes can also compete in the cross country program during May - July.
